09 Cartoning & case packing → 10 Palletizing & dispatch
01 Receiving & weighing
Drum and pallet handling, floor scales and bench scales. Define lot staging, maximum batch weight, minimum weighment and dust control.
02 Purified water
Pretreatment, reverse osmosis skid, purified water tank and distribution loop. Size from feed-water analysis, target quality, peak demand and points of use.
03 Emulsification & mixing
Select a vacuum emulsifier with homogenizer for creams and lotions, or a liquid mixing tank for shampoo and body wash. Confirm viscosity, working volume, temperature control, deaeration and discharge.
04 Transfer & quality checks
Sanitary pumps, buffer tanks, sample points and changeover cleaning connections. Select pumps, pipe size and insulation around viscosity, transfer distance and hold time. Define release checks such as pH and viscosity.
05 Filling & closing
Bottle and jar lines use infeed, dosing and pump or cap application. Tube lines feed, orient, fill and seal. Sachet lines feed or form, fill and heat-seal. Confirm fill volume, pack dimensions, closure and speed from samples.
06 Automatic labeling
A roll-fed labeler uses a dispensing head and conveyor positioning. Choose wrap labeling for round bottles or single- or double-sided labeling for flat packs. Provide samples, label dimensions and roll specifications.
07 Inline inkjet coding
A dedicated coder uses a controller, printhead and trigger sensor, with an encoder where required. Select CIJ or TIJ around substrate, print area, speed and rub resistance. Trial batch and date codes on actual packaging.
08 Vision code verification
An industrial camera, lighting, controller and reject mechanism inspect code presence, legibility and content. Validate reject behavior with low-contrast, missing and incorrect codes.
09 Cartoning & case packing
Configure cartoning, leaflet feeding, case erecting, packing and sealing as needed. Use samples to confirm carton size, product orientation, case count and changeover.
10 Palletizing & dispatch
Configure palletizing, pallet conveying and stretch wrapping around output. Confirm case weight, pallet dimensions, stacking pattern, maximum height and lot identification.
Plant integration and handover
Define equipment layout, personnel and material flows, utilities, conveyor buffers, interlocks and batch records. Agree on line testing, installation, commissioning, acceptance and training.
